Dr Dlamini completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Cape Town. He then completed his Fellowship of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Africa and Master of Medicine at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He worked as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon doing mainly orthopaedic trauma at one of the tertiary state hospitals in Durban. He then moved to King Dinuzulu Hospital Complex spine unit where he spent over four years learning, working, teaching, and mostly obtaining valuable experience in the field of spine surgery, exclusively. His area of interest is in all spine-related conditions and general orthopaedic trauma.
